Capoeira

Park Kultury Nursery invites children to attend the Capoeira Club classes. Capoeira is a dancelike martial art of Brazil, performed to the accompaniment of call-and-response singing and instrumental music. Capoeira classes improve children's fitness, confidence and creativity, as well as enrich their education and life experience.

There are no fixed positions in capoeira, it is more like a continuous dance. The task of the dancers standing in a circle is not to lose the rhythm and let the opponent out of sight. They try to "outdance" the opponent. The whole dance is a continuous improvisation using simple and more complex low movements, wheels, spins.
